Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox had studied for three years at the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. She lived off of an allowance for students and went on part-time employment to augment her income. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied in her ability in comparison to her fellow students and was contemplating a different route she could take. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. The group broke up shortly before their appearance on I.T.V's talents show New Faces. Her main role was as the singer of The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox was working on her own first album Diva. The album was released in 1993. Both commercially as well as critically the album was a massive achievement. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites soul jazz blues tracks from the time of her childhood. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox published Lepidoptera an album of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. Her first solo album along with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on the 25th of December 1954. Following a modest recognition as part of the band called The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the pop duo Eurythmics in the 1980s. Lennox began her solo career in 1992 with the release of Diva with many of her most popular tracks like Why and the song Walking On Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album that features covers of tracks like No MoreI Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her credits include the release of six studio albums on her own and a compilation.
